Constanze manages in her best works to use heavy loaded symbols like a skull, an anchor or a mirrow in such a lovely and playful way that these symbols almost deflate to site-aspects of her joyful creations. By using materials like soap and broken car glass she demonstrates she wants her choice and treat of materials to be at least as important as the shape she gave them. I love the sculpture-like qualities of her jewelery pieces and at the same time the sheer beauty of some of her `free´ pieces like the soap scull on a mountain of used soapes: Constanze piecè de résistance
